Adult Programs

16 Years & Up - Beginners welcome!

It is never too late to learn how to ride a motorized off-road vehicle or to get back into it after a break. Our adult riding programs will provide you with hands-on lessons on how to use & ride your bike and allow you to practice in a safe environment. The majority of our customers are complete beginners and by the end of their session they will be able to use the clutch, understand how to brake and change gears safely, balance, slow speed techniques, turning to enable them to ride off-road safely and confidently.

Our school and training program is a great way to polish your skills to be able to take your M2 and M ministry road test and make you a more accomplished rider both on the street and in the dirt.

Determine Your Skill Level

During registration, we will ask for your rider level in order to assign you to an appropriate riding group and offer training suited to your ability. We teach all levels of riders, but you must be able to ride a regular bicycle without training wheels. Throughout the ride experience, riders are continuously assessed and monitored, our specialized proven curriculum is then delivered to each group based on a number of factors.

Beginner

  • You are likely a beginner if you have never ridden a motorcycle before and have only bicycle experience. Beginners are always welcome in our programs! Experience with a standard transmission is NOT required, but it is an asset.

You are a Beginner Plus if you are just starting out on 2 wheels, have experience on a scooter, have been on a street bike once or twice, and/or have lots of mountain bike experience. You can drive a standard vehicle.

  • Novice riders have experience on the street or some limited experience off-road. You must be capable of using the clutch and familiar with all motorcycle controls.

Novice Plus riders are seasoned street bike riders with years of experience and have had some off-road time. Beginners returning for their second ride would be considered Novice Plus. Dirtbikers who have not ridden for many years and are returning to the sport would also fall under this category.

Intermediate / Advanced

  • Intermediate riders have some dirt bike experience. Returning customers who have been with us more than once are usually considered intermediate, as well as motocross riders interested in getting into trail riding. Intermediate and above riders may join us on a variety of trail rides.

Intermediate Plus riders have lots of trail riding experience, are interested in learning more advanced skills, or are just adventuring on more technical trails.

  • Advanced riders have ridden with us many times or have extensive dirtbike/competition experience, and usually own a dirtbike. Advanced riders are expected to be confident in handling technical trails.

Expert

  • As you might expect, expert riders have many years of riding and competition experience (Enduro, Hare Scramble, Hard Enduro). Expert riders can enjoy our more advanced trails, but for a more challenging experience, we suggest you join us for one of our off-site rides.
